Had my first class on Saturday - English 111 (Effective Writing).  I had to buy 5 (!!) books, only one of which is a novel.  The professor is quite nice and there's only a dozen or so people in my class, so there's a lot of in-class discussion and activity without the hum drum lecture.  We also get a pretty lengthy break, so I'll make sure to bring ( Read more... )
